Chapter 6

Thanksgiving Day

"A toast to our father and mother, Van and Fiona." Leena said at Reena's and Leena's Thanksgiving dinner.
"Here, here." Reena exclaimed. They drank a few sips of their wine. They started dinner and didn't talk for 30 minutes.
RINGRINGRING!!! The phone rang. Leena slowly got up from her seat and answered the phone.
"Hello?....Ok, I'll meet you there. Bye." She hung up the phone. "I have to go. My friend wants to meet me somewhere. I'll be back soon." Leena said to Reena and she walked out the door.
"I'm gonna find out why she's running out on me a lot." Reena said to herself.

"Stop here Comet." Leena said to her zoid. She jumped out and ran to Raven. "Oh I missed you, I haven't seen you for a month."
"Oh, I love you. I'm sooo glad I'm seeing you." Raven finished his statement with a kiss and a big hug.
"So, is your dad feeling better about zoids, at all?"
"No. His still cold hearted. I just don't get how my mom puts up with him."
"Oh, I'm so sorry. Here, give me a kiss." They locked lips and gave each other a hug.
