Disclaimer: I do not own Zoids. However I’ve watched enough episodes of Zoids to understand stuff.. At that I would like it if you could tell me if I messed up somewhere. That is all.

 

Don’t mind the fact that Van almost dies; I’m not one to kill the main character. Also the intro’s are Mari’s dreams, just incase you don’t understand. Last this version is the edited version. It does not have some weird and disgusting things in it. Well, that’s it. Hope you enjoy.

                A mysterious cat like Zoid walks away from a burning town. As we move to see into the cockpit we see a smile upon the pilots face. “Death will come to all…Your next, Raven,” The pilot says. What shall this Pilot do to Raven? Why him?

Story

 

            “Van, you moron, get out of MY room!” A young girl says as she throws a butter knife at Van. She had tan skin, dark brown hair down to her knees, blue eyes and a perfect build. At the moment she was wearing a black towel. “The next time you walk into my room will be your last!” she said as Van hit the near by wall and the butter knife hit right beside his face on the wall. A small line of blood formed across his cheek.

“You don’t have to be so lethal!” he said as he ran down the hall before she could throw another butter knife at him.

“You’d better run!” she yells after him slamming her door shut. She walked over to her closest and changed into her normal cloths, a black tank top, black fingerless fighting gloves that go past her elbows, and black baggy pants. She has her bellybutton pierced and her ears pierce, moons hang from her ears and a hoop in her belly.

            Van sat in the cafeteria with Fiona and Tomas. He was eating a breakfast burrito and Fiona and Tomas were drinking tea. “Tomas, can you hand me the salt?” Fiona asked with a smile on her face.

“Sure, Fiona,” he said handing her the salt a smile also across his face.

Van was still stuffing his face when the lethal girl walked over to them. “Hi everyone,” she said as she sat next to Van an evil grin across her face. Van stopped eating when he saw her smile.

“Hello, Mari,” both Fiona and Tomas said at the same time.

“So, you to finally took my advice or is this some parallel universe? Well, it can’t be a parallel universe or Van would be cute,” she said looking at Fiona.

“What advice?” Van questioned.

“We sure did. Thanks a lot,” Fiona said.

“What advice?” Van questioned again.

“Good you needed to get that over with,” Mari said.

“What advice?” Van questioned again.

“You truly don’t understand, Van. It’s the works of true love,” Mari said getting up.

“What?” Van asked he still didn’t get it.

“You still don’t understand? What a moron,” Mari said as she left.

“What?!?!” Van yelled after her.

She ignored him and walked down to the launch station where her Liger Tiegon was. She walked over to the Tiegon and looked it over. It was in perfect shape. It looks like the Liger Zero X with dark blue armor and light blue lining the armor. “Looks good Doc.” She said as she looked at the laser canons.

“Doc. D did nothing to your Zoid,” a female voice said. Moonbay walked out from behind Tiegon.

“Moonbay, long time no see,” Mari said as she walked over to her.

“So, what kinda Zoid is this?” Moonbay asked looking the Tiegon over.

“Liger Tiegon, found him near the gorge. You did some real good work on him,” Mari said as a Lighting Saix walked in.

“Cool, Irvine’s here,” Moonbay said as she nudged Mari in the side.

Mari blushed and looked at the ground. “Well, I’m going to go joy riding,” she said as she headed up to the Tiegon.

“Aw, you’re not going to leave Irvine hanging are you?” Moonbay called after her.

“Bye,” she said as she got in the Tiegon.

“Whatever…” Moonbay said as she walked over to the Lighting Saix.

The Tiegon ran out of the launch station.

“Wait!” Irvine yelled after her as the cockpit door opened on his Zoid, but it was too late.

            The Tiegon ran to an old abandoned airfield were they used to launch flyer type Zoids. The Tiegon stopped in the middle of one of the run ways. Suddenly the Genobreaker ran onto the run way.

“Raven,” Mari hissed.

“Well, if it isn’t the infamous Midnight,” Raven said.

“What do you care? Just tell me why you brought me here,” she demanded

“I need you to kill some one. When you’re done, we’ll battle,” he replied.

“Who and why?” she asked.

“Irvine and you don’t need to know,” he replied.

She gasped. ‘I can’t kill him…I l’ she cut her train of thought.

“No, fight me now!” she demanded as she fired her laser canons.

He dodged. “Firing aimlessly will get you no where…When you do what I say I will fight,” he said leaving the run way.

“It’s not like you to run!” she yelled in anger.

He ignored her and left.

Phase 2: Midnight

Intro

 

            A pilot screams into the distance. She cries of pain and hatred. “I’ll kill you Raven!” she cries and then curls into a ball. “Save me… You are my savior… So save me…” she cries as the darkness takes over. “Even in my world…My dreams you haunt me…You demon…” she says as she vanishes with the darkness.

Story

 

            She wakes up in a cold sweat curled up into a ball. Suddenly there was a knock on her door. “Hey, Shubalts wants us,” said the voice that could only belong to Irvine.

“Just a minuet,” she said as she got out of bed. She couldn’t let him see her like this. She grabs a towel and wipes away the sweat. Then she grabs her gloves and puts them on and brushes her hair. She finally opens the door.

“You ready,” he said with his charming smile.

“Of course,” she said as she walked down the hall to the Conference room.

“Whatever you say,” he replied following her. He always agreed with her.

As they walked over to the Conference room they saw Van and Zeek fighting for once. Zeek hit Van in the head with his tail. “Zeek, would you stop it!” Van yelled in anger.

“Hey, moron, we have to go to the Conference room,” she said still walking.

“I know!” Van snapped back in anger.

“Whatever…” she said as she entered the Conference room.

Colonel Shubalts was standing in the center of the room and the others were sitting down at the sides of the room.

“We’ll start as soon as Van gets here,” Colonel Shubalts said as Mari and Irvine sat down.

Van flew into the room and almost hit Colonel Shubalts.

“Aw, Van. Glad you could join us,” Colonel Shubalts said as Van moaned in pain.

Van got up and sat next to Fiona, who was still smiling, as Zeek ran into the room.

            “We will begin now,” Colonel Shubalts said as a hidden screen popped out of the floor. “We got a daily report from our solders in the near by town, although the report sounded more like a distress signal. Watch and you’ll understand,” he said before a person showed up on the screen, you could tell it was a recording.

“Colonel, send back up! Midnight is here and she’s destroying everything! We can’t stop her sir! Ahhhhhh!” the solder said before the screen went black.

“That was the last thing we got from the town. We figure Midnight destroyed everything within five minuets,” Colonel Shubalts said as the screen once again was hidden.

“Who is this Midnight and how come we didn’t hear about her earlier?” Irvine questioned.

“We wanted to keep her secret from you guys, but she is now becoming a burden…We have to get rid of her,” Colonel Shubalts replied.

“By keeping her hidden you created more of a burden,” Fiona said the smile finally gone.

“So we’ll have to do more simulations?” Van asked.

“Yes, lots more. She is more powerful than Raven, I fear…” Colonel Shubalts replied.

“Do we know where she’ll attack next?” Tomas asked.

“No, I’m afraid she just attacks…No specific order,” Colonel Shubalts replied.

“And what about Madame President…Are there any attacks over there?” Moonbay asked.

“We haven’t contacted her yet,” Colonel Shubalts replied.

A solder walked in. “Sir, Madame President is on the phone,” he said then left.

“Is there anything else? Mari?” Colonel Shubalts asked.

“No…”she said as she got up and left.

“I guess that’s it,” Irvine said as he went after Mari.

            Mari was walking down the hall to her room when Irvine came. “What’s wrong? You seemed really disturbed about this…” He said as he caught up with her.

“Nothing…” she said as she went into her room.

He stopped at the entrance into her room. He never entered without her permission. “Are you sure?” he asked.

“Yes…” she said as she lay down on her bed.

“Ok…” he said before he left.

            She woke up in a cold sweat screaming. A few seconds later Irvine ran in. “What’s wrong?” he asked with concern.

“I just had a bad dream…Nothing serious…”she replied.

“Are you sure? Do you want to talk about it?” he asked as he walked over to her bed and sat down.

Did she want to talk about it? She knew she did, but not to him. She would be telling him she loves him. She would be exposing herself to him. Could she really tell him? Did she even want to? Was it even possible?

“I don’t really want to talk about it…I’d prefer to leave it alone…”she replied kinda having to force herself to keep it in.

“Ok…If you feel better that way,” he said with his charming smile.

At that moment she asked herself what she was going to do. If she wanted to fight Raven, she would have to kill Irvine. But the only reason she wants to fight Raven is to prove to Irvine that she can beat him. Irvine hated him, so her gift to him would be Raven defeated. She was in a tight spot. She would have to kill Irvine to impress him, but if she killed him there would be no one to impress. So what could she do, if it was her world, her dreams then she’d be able to beat Raven and impress Irvine, but at the moment her world, her dreams were corrupted by Raven. What was she to do?

“Well, I’m going to go back to sleep,” he said getting up.

She smiled in agreement, but as he left she thought she would scream. There, leaving was Raven, not Irvine. “You haunt me even in life…” she murmured.

           

            “Van, get out of MY room!!!!” Mari yelled as she ran out of her room with a butter knife. Van was running away from her down the hall.

“I told you that would be your last time!!!” she said as he turned a corner.

She turned the corner to follow him, but hit Irvine. They fell down and hit the ground. The knife, still in her hand, was inches away from his neck.

“Are you trying to kill me?” Irvine asked in confusion.

“No, I’m not…”she said kinda embarrassed.

“Yes she is!!! She is trying to kill everyone with a butter knife!!!!!” Van said before running off again.

“Sorry…” she said as she got off of him.

“It’s okay,” he said as he got up.

“I’m really sorry…” she said again.

“I told you, it’s okay,” he replied.

Colonel Shubalts walked up to them.

“Good morning. Aw Irvine, we need you at the Simulation Area. You’re going to train with Van and Tomas,” Colonel Shubalts said in a cheery voice.

“Okay, sure,” he said before leaving toward the Simulation Area

“What about me?” Mari asked.

“Sorry Mari, but you don’t train until tomorrow,” He replied.

“Whatever…I’ll just go take a walk…” she said quite angry.

            A few minuets later she and her Liger Tiegon were away from the Base.

“I am soooo bored…” she said as they reach a grassy area.

The Tiegon roared in agreement.

“You always understand…” she said looking up at the blue sky. “I wish Irvine knew me like you do…”

The Tiegon roared again.

“Heh, your right… If he knew me like you do, he would probable have heart attack…” she replied.

Suddenly a Genobreaker jumped in front of her and her Zoid.

“Raven,” she hissed.
