Chapter Six: He Returns

Two months later...


Echo and Kara were still driving on. Heading east. Still wondering where Blake and Jim are. Not knowing what happened. But Stax did. Echo was now ta nned, and her hair now a dirty blond. While on the other hand, Kara was the same.

The girls ran up to a jade green Gustaff, with white bottom. To the back of the Gustaff was a trailer, pulling a Orange and Blue command wolf. The g irls tried to get on the com-link with the Gustaff, but couldn't. They event ually ran up to it.

The Gustaff hesitated, then the Command wolf activated, and locked on th e girls.

Over a speaker shouted , " Who are you ? " asked a young man.

" Well, I'm Kara and this is Echo. We are looking for someone. Have you seen someone that goes by the name Blake Zero? "

" Yeah, I have seen him. "

" Can we come in to talk to you about the situation? " asked Echo.

The doors opened, and the girls ran inside.

Blake Zero was piloting the Gustaff, he had two black bold lines on the right check that go to his neck.

" Zero! It's really you! " shouted the girls.

" Yeah, what about it? " asked Blake.

" You're different. Too serious. What happened to your face? " asked Kar a.

" I was in a fight, two months ago. I spent over a month walking, with h ardly any food or water. "

" Oh, where is Jimmy? " asked Echo.

" I met a kid named Sipe. He and I fought, he destroyed .... "

" Oh my! I am so sorry. "  spoke Kara.

" I found a Gustaff in the first town I went to. It was deserted. Like e veryone stopped what they were doing and left. After witnessing Stone's assa ssination , I was terrified. I wen't crazy. I eventually got to Silver City, there I stole this abandoned Command Wolf, which I named Blurge. "

The girls looked sad. Blake was looked older, more serious than ever bef ore. He was now fourteen. He was deadly now.

" Where did you get that tattoo? " asked Echo.

"  I stayed there for awhile. Decided to start being more serious. Decided to become a fighter, not a spirit rider. "

On planet Zi at that time. The Tattoo on the face resembled maturity, to be able to take care of self, and / or been through tough experiences.

" You girls want a ride? " asked Blake.

The girls nodded, and tied their zoids, the Helcat and the Sabre Cat to the trailer and they got in the gustaff, and they drove off.

" So, who was it that killed Jim? "

" Like I said before, it was Sipe. Can we stop talking about it. "

That night, while at the camp, they layed down and rested. Stax tackled Blake from not seeing him so long, he hopped off the zoid to see him. Kara w as sleeping, and Echo walked over to Blake and sat beside him.

" I'm sorry about Jimmy. "

" Me too, me too. "

" How was your adventure with Kara? "

" Oh, we did a bunch of stuff. Like worried about you guys, and help out people with their problems. "

" Good to know. " Blake tried to smile, but it was so hard for him too,  he hadn't done it in so long.

As the night past, Blake woke up to find Stax laying in his lap, and Ech o laying on his shoulder. He just stayed there, waiting for them to awake.

He started to cook some Bacon.

The scent awoke Stax, which when Stax moved, who Echo was laying on, wok e up too.

" What's all the camotion? " asked Kara, getting up.

" I made bacon. " said Blake in a emotionless face.

" You really love that stuff, don't you? " asked Echo.

Blake handed a plate of four pieces of bacon to everyone, he gave Stax a cup of bacon-greased dog food. She loved it.

"We better get going." said Kara.

" Yeah, we should. " spoke Echo.

Later that day they reached a town. Sapphire Town.

In there, Kara wen't to the mall, with Blake and Echo.

They wen't shopping and saw a movie , " The Gaurds of the Empire "

Later that night, Kara went out with some guy that asked her out, while Blake sat at the park, watching fish swim in a fountain.

Echo walked by him and sat down .

" What's up ? "

" Nothing much. Just looking at the fish and the stars. "

" Hey, do I have something on my nose? "

Blake looked at her nose and replied , " I don't see anything. "

Their eyes caught. Their faces came closer, they were about to kiss when Kara came out and said, " Hey guys. What's up. Oh, oh... I see, I will go. "

" No, it's nothing. Nothing at all. " said Blake.
