Episode 4: My new Zoid
Prelude: On the planet Zi, 60
million light years from earth, a war is going on between the two most powerful
nations on the planet: The
“What! My
zoid can’t be repaired!?!” I yelled.
“Sorry,
that electro fang that you used overloaded the zoid core. Not even your
organoid can repair it.” said the mechanic.
“We do
have a zoid in the back, it is a new type. It is a Shield Liger.” Said the mechanic after looking over my old zoid.
“Shield Liger, never heard of it. I have heard of ligers though, but they are really
just racing zoid right? It couldn’t be a good fighter.” I said.
“Hey,
just try it, it is fast and it was especially designed to fight the Empire’s
Saber Tiger zoid.” said the mechanic.
“Okay,
I’ll give it a try. Do you have a trial field here?” I asked.
“Yes, out
back. I’ll ready the captured Rev Raptors.” He said.
I took
the Shield Liger out onto the trial field and the trainer Rev Raptors were sent
out.
“Okay,
what do we have for weapons? 30mm pulse cannons, missile launcher boxes, shock
cannon, and…frontal force shield? Okay let’s get started!” I said.
The Rev
Raptors charged me. I dodged them and I got out the 30mm pulse cannons. I was
surprised on how accurate they were and how powerful they were.
“Wow!
Okay lets try the speed of this baby!” I said because
I knew how fast the Rev Raptor zoids were.
I easily
evaded the first charge of the Rev Raptor blade attack and began to run. They
couldn’t even catch up to me!
“Okay,
lock onto those 16 Rev Raptors and fire all missiles!” I yelled.
All the
missiles hit their targets! I then engaged my frontal force shield and charged
the last two Rev Raptors. They were destroyed!
“Okay, it
is decided, I’ll take this zoid, this Shield Liger. Man, I never knew a liger
could be so powerful, me and Champ will take it!” I said.
“You can
only take it if you beat me in a zoid battle. Bring out my Bear Fighter zoid
boys!” he yelled.
“Okay,
that is a good zoid, what a transmission is coming through, it says…” I said.
Lieutenant! Get back here! We are
under attack by Molgas and Gators! The transmission said.
“I can’t
fight you right now! I have to get back to the base, they’re under attack!” I
yelled.
“Okay!
Get out of here! Get to your base!” the mechanic yelled.
